Privacy and browser data
Calculated on your device
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. Site code does not send those values to a calculation server. No account is needed.
Local records
Favourite vehicles, saved guides, the trip checklist and comparisons you choose to save use this browser’s local storage. Records do not sync across devices. The button on this page removes only Volts records.
Map and location
Opening the map connects to Open Charge Map. The provider may receive connection data such as your IP address and browser information. The location button requests permission only when clicked; if allowed, coordinates are sent to the map provider to centre the map. Location is not saved in Volts local records.
Other external services
Fonts may load from Google Fonts and some images from Unsplash. These requests share connection data with those providers. Manufacturer links lead to other sites. No advertising pixel or visitor analytics script has been added. The hosting provider may separately process network and security logs.
Offline use
If you choose to save calculators offline, the 180 calculator pages in 30 languages and site files are cached on this device. Maps, external images and manufacturer sites do not work offline. Current station data is not stored offline.
Scope
This page describes the current website’s technical data flows. The controller identity, verified contact channel and regional legal text have not been supplied. It is not presented as a completed app-store privacy declaration.
Data controls
Deletion cannot be undone. Other sites’ records are kept.
